The teachers, staff and I would like to thank all of the parents and students
for helping make this school year at Reinberg a successful one!
We have seen an increase in the amount of parent volunteers at Reinberg. The
volunteers were of great help to us and we hope to increase the number of volunteers
even more next year. We are looking for parents to assist with the Parent Patrol
and recess/lunch supervision. Please stop by the office and speak with Mrs.
Arzate, if you would like to help.
The hours for students in kindergarten through eighth grade have been changed
to 9 am- 4 pm. Morning supervision of students outside by school staff will
begin at 8:45. Students are to enter the building at 8:55. The tardy bell rings
at 9:07 and instruction will begin promptly at 9:15. All students will be dismissed
from classes at 4:00. School begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
Our school uniform policy has changed. Pants, which include leggings/jeggings,
must have over garment coverage, such as a school shirt or sweatshirt and be
fingertip length. All pants must be navy or khaki. The polo shirts (red or white
only) cannot have logos, numbers or any designs on them. Only solid white shirts
may be worn under the polo shirt. The gym uniform will still have to be purchased
at school. We will sell the gym uniforms and the remainder of our polo shirts
we have in stock on Thursday, August 28 and Friday, August 29 from 9am to 1pm.
Student fees will remain the same as well - $25.00 for kindergarten students,
and $50.00 for 1st through 8th grade students.
Please visit our Reinberg Website for updates during the summer at http://reinberg.cps.edu.
Again, I want to thank you for all that you do for your children and for
our school. Only when we work together can we expect all of our children to
have an enjoyable and productive school experience.
Have a great summer, and be ready for an exciting 2014-2015!
